Privacy policy

Our primary objective is to provide high-quality services to you through our business activities and, thereby, to contribute to your progress by always maintaining our Òcustomers' point of view.Ó We believe our customers expect this of us and it is therefore our mission.
We understand that you have entrusted us with your personal information for specific purposes only and that it is our duty to keep such personal information secure and to use it in deference to your will. We will do our best to protect your personal information, keeping the following policies always in mind.

Handling of Personal Information

(Legal Compliance)

1. We will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, related laws and regulations, and the obligations provided for in the guidelines established by the relevant ministries regarding the handling of personal information (referring to any information that enables the identification of a specific individual; hereinafter the same shall apply).

2. We will specify the purpose(s) of use to the extent we are able and handle your personal information only within the scope of such purpose(s) which we have made public or for which we have provided clear notification, except for cases in which we have obtained your prior consent and for cases permitted under related laws and regulations.

3. We will endeavor to clearly provide necessary information such as purpose(s) of use, names of joint-users, and contact details, and to obtain your consent, before acquiring your personal information. Although we may record, in writing and/or orally, the details of transactions with and inquiries from you, we will handle any acquired information only for the purpose of adequate and swift response to your request.

4. We will give special consideration to the acquisition and handling of personal information regarding minors, for example, when requesting personal information from children less than fifteen (15) years of age, we will do so only after first receiving the parents' or guardians' consent.

(Security Control Measures)

5. We will endeavor to keep all personal information entrusted to us accurate and updated within the scope of the purpose(s) of use. We will take necessary and adequate security control measures and corrective measures in line with existing technical standards to protect entrusted personal information from unauthorized access, modification, leakage, and the like.

(Supervision of Subcontractor(s))

6. We may subcontract the processing of entrusted personal information to a third party within the scope of the purpose(s) of use. Any such third party will be selected only after confirming sufficient levels of information security, and we will exercise necessary and adequate supervision of the said third party's use of personal information through the signing of contracts.

(Provision to Third Parties)

7. Without your consent, we will not provide your personal information to any third party other than joint-users about whom you will receive clear notification at the time of acquisition, except for cases permitted under related laws and regulations.

8. We will, based upon the provisions of related laws and regulations, promptly respond to your requests to disclose, correct, or delete your personal information and/or to stop receiving further product or service information from us after confirming your identity.

9. We will set up necessary internal systems to address swiftly and adequately your inquiries about our handling of your personal information.

10. We will continuously endeavor to reinforce and improve internal compliance systems including upgrading this Privacy Policy through establishment of internal rules, employee education, and appropriate internal audit in order to handle entrusted personal information properly.
